Altice One hardware is NOT reliable from day one with 6 units installed in my house. The intermittent problems vary from no sound on TV– remotes not working- no picture just will not go on – unit goes off on its own – basically never get consistent service on the cable boxes.

Internet service drops packets - and this is important if you use the internet access for your corporate work access. dropped packets means the internet connections keeps dropping. And this happened every 15 minutes…

Optimum claims it is not their Altice one problem, but it only started to happen when this new equipment was setup.

And I have proved the problem is the Altice setup as the other traditional modem router service on my property works just fine... so unhappy so mad I'm calling to have this new poorly tested equipment removed from my house.

I’m willing to help Optimum test to isolate this repeat problem as I am a sophisticated user but so far no support.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $2000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Optimum Cons: Customer support.

Same problem!

I've had Optimun for 4 and 1/2 months with 3 service calls already. Every night I lose my connection and have to unplug my router for at least 5 minutes so that it resets It takes a total of 10 to 15 minutes to reset it.

Today a tree fell down on my cable wire and I lost my connection. I tried calling them on 3 different numbers only to get a recording that hung up on me. Other times I've called and waited on hold over an hour for them to disconnect me. My neighbor got thru to Optimum customer service only for them to set up a service call 5 days later.

So we are suppose to be without cable for 5 days and they might not even show up. I am fed up with OPTIMUM AND THEIR BS. I PAY MY BILL ON TIME EVERY MONTH AND THIS IS WHAT THEY DO TO LOYAL CUSTOMERS..I'M DONE WITH THIS COMPANY. I called Verizon today and was on hold only 5 minutes.

They set up a service call for August 24th..no more Optimum!!!! They are pricey but their service is reluable.

Altice One...don't plan on keeping your same phone number if you are moving, even if it is within the same town...good luck trying to change it back to the one you used for years!!

The Altice one system is the single worst experience I have ever had with a cable TV system and I have had everything from Verizon to Time Warner to Direct TV. I have had to call tech support about 5-6 times and had 2 techs sent out since installation.

The last one was 2 days ago. He was here for 2+ hours and finally looked at me sadly and said "I can't fix it." Never heard that from a tech before. I called and told them I wanted their legacy system reinstalled or they could just pull it out. I asked why they thought it was ok to have their paying customers beta testing their system?

From the response from everyone I spoke with it's pretty clear that is what is going on. Old system being reinstalled Tuesday.

Just installed last week. Worst cable experience I have ever had.

Criminal that we are paying almost 200 per month.

Criminal. If my husband would agree, I would cut the cord.

long time optimum customer, altice cust. service disgusting!!

cannot get to speak to any rep or tech!! 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. service time, no one showed up or called!!

on line speak to virtual rep.!! are you kidding!!

hours clicking diff numbers only to get call dropped. 3 4 hour session to install and still terrible!
