Optimum - I cancel on the 2nd, they still charge me for the whole month!
First off, I waited 20+ minutes to talk to a representative, but that's not what irks me. We moved, so I wanted to cancel service at the old address, I just called them (12/2) and say I want to cancel.
They say that per their policy cancellations take place at the end of the billing period (12/31). There's no pro-rating for the 2 days into December that it wasn't cancelled, they're making me pay the WHOLE month of December even though the house is EMPTY, no one is there!
When I call for service you're gonna nickel and dime me (prorate) for a couple of days if it's not the beginning of the cycle and yet you cannot prorate for when I wish to cancel? What ***!

Optimum Cons: Customer service and cancellation policy, Nickel and diming with their current cancellation policy.

I dont think it is right to be charged for services I did not got from them
